(w/MacPhie).Began playing tennis at age 8 1/2 with mother and friends at local club.The No. 1 ranked junior in the U.S. among the 18s in 1990-91. Reached the quarterfinals of the French Open Junior and winner of the Italian Open Juniors in 1990. Also reached the semifinals at the Wimbledon Juniors in 1990-91. Captured the USTA National singles and doubles 18s titles in 1990-91. Enjoys basketball, soccer, beach volleyball. Finished one year of school at the Univ. of Georgia in 1990 before turning pro. Father, Mark, is tournament director of the Delray Beach International Tennis Championships, a stop on the ATP Tour. Has two younger brothers, Adam and Chris. Currently the Director of Marketing and Special Events for the Delray Beach International Championships.
