    • Motivation is "to play a lot of big tournaments, to play the best players in the world and to play in front of big crowds."
    • Big sports fan. Perfect day without tennis is playing a padel match, then a round of golf and finishing the day with a rugby match.
    • On transition from juniors to pros:"For me, one of the biggest challenges was staying patient and believing in yourself, after being a top junior and then losing a lot of tough matches as a professional. Even if you lose, there are positives that you can be better tomorrow and you can change things quickly in tennis."

    • Former World No. 3 junior earned 1st ranking point at age 15 in 2012, entered Top 200 in 2015, broke into Top 100 in 2022 and achieved career-high No. 61 in January 2023 after reaching 1st ATP Tour QF at Auckland (l. to Brooksby).
    • Reached first ATP Tour SF at 2023 Estoril (l. to eventual champ Ruud in 3rd-set TB) and best ATP Masters 1000 result was 4R in Miami (l. to eventual champ Medvedev).
    • Qualified at Australian Open in 2018, 2020 and 2021, as well as at US Open in 2021.
    • Posted 43-10 Challenger record in 2022 (3-4 in finals), winning titles at Pau, Lille and Ismaning.
    • Defeated future World No. 3 Tsitsipas en route to 2nd of 6 career Challenger titles at 2018 Quimper.
    • Went 129-46 in singles and 83-35 in doubles on ITF Junior Circuit, ending junior career with run to 2014 US Open boys’ singles final after winning 2014 Roland Garros boys’ doubles title with countryman Bonzi.
