    Recorded most memorable win of career as a qualifier ranked No. 281 at Wimbledon, where he stunned No. 3 seed Agassi in 1st RD...Followed his second career Top 10 win (Lendl +93) by beating Palmer in four sets before falling to Johansson in 3rd RD...The Agassi match was his first Tour-level encounter in more than a year and first win in more than two years...He had fallen to No. 641 by the end of `95...Returned to Satellite level, picking up six points on British #1, then winning USTA #1, good for 62 points, and following with third-place finish on USTA #2 for 36 more points...That allowed him to climb to No. 281 by Wimbledon, then to No. 160...Received wild card into U.S. Open and reached 2nd RD (d.
