    • Ranking: The Italian broke into Top 100 on June 19, 2017and achieved career-high No. 84 on July 24, 2017 after reaching Umag SF. Cracked Top 200 on Sept. 19, 2011 after reaching Szczecin, POL Challenger QF (l. to Munoz de la Nava). Earned 1st ATP ranking point at age 18 on Oct. 20, 2008 following QF run at Quartu Sant'Elena, ITA Futures as WC (l. to Leonardi).
    • Milestones: Earned 3 wins in 3 sets to reach 1st ATP World Tour SF at 2017 Umag (l. to Lorenzi in 3 sets). Owns 1-0 record in ATP Challenger Tour finals outside of Italy and 0-6 record in Challenger finals on home soil. Did not drop a set en route to 1st Challenger title at 2016 Szczecin, POL (d. Brown). Captured 5 of his 6 ITF Futures Circuit titles in Italy, most recently in 2015 at Lodi, ITA (d. Marti) and Sassuolo, ITA (d. Naso). Enjoyed 1st 2 ATP wins en route to 2011 Bucharest QF as Q (d. Montanes and Gil, l. to Andujar). Owns records of 113-112in Challengers and 98-57 in Futures.
    • Grand Slams: Qualified for 1st Grand Slam main draw in 9th attempt at 2016 US Open (d. Kudla 06 64 61 16 60, l. to Wawrinka in 2R). Never advanced past 2nd round of qualifying in all 11 other triesfrom 2011 US Open through 2017Wimbledon.
    • ATP Masters 1000:Made ATP Masters 1000 debut at 2012 Monte-Carlo as Q (l. to Volandri in 1R). Fell in qualifying at Monte-Carlo in 2013 and 2017, as well as at Rome in 2010, 2013, 2016 and 2017.
